Full embodiment, specifications, and hair removing process available as per extracts of the patent.

Product available in ROLLS or COILS. Roll lengths vary from 1500M -1700M ( yarn diameter 5-6mM, 35-42 twists per foot, roll weight 19-20 Kgs, twine interwoven with 2 pp yarn thread of Br/strength, 40 ft high container capacity approx 930 rolls.)

Usage/Applications

Specially made for Korean oyster farming to make nets for tanks for breeding baby oysters known in Korea as "Mongi". When the oyster egg shells are hatched and split up, the baby Mongis have to hang along the net.  If the twine has hairs and not smooth enough, it is difficult for the baby Mongis to catch and hold the netting because of the hair prevent them from easily catching on to the twine. The number of baby Mongis that can hang along per inch of twine will increase dramatically due to the smoothness of the hair removed twine. They are kept in tanks for a few months and are moved to Brakish water lagoons along with the nets for final harvestings.
